The the maximum CPU power the Virtual Private Server can get. The total CPU power equals 100% * Number Of CPUs.

This number affects how often Virtuozzo scheduler will allow virtual private server processes to run. However, if there are free CPU cycles (for example all other VPSs are inactive) than scheduler will allow virtual private server processes to use them. If we have two virtual private servers, one with CPU units set to 500 and another with 1000, then the second one will receive two times more CPU cycles than the first one if both are busy.

Changes to the OS are handled by provisioning a new VPS with your desired OS and opening a 14 day window to allow migration of data to the new VPS. After 14 days, the old VPS is cancelled.

A CD or DVD can be mounted as a drive to allow installation of applications or the transfer of data to the VPS.

Additional IP addresses may be necessary for your VPS if you need to run multiple SSL sites, FTP servers, or applications which required dedicated IP addressing. IP addresses are subject to our allocation policy; we may ask you to justify your request before allocation.

Terminal Service licensing allows running applications remotely over a terminal session inside your VPS. SALs are licensed by the number of simultaneous terminals sessions required.
