Organizations get the highest level of authentication with True BusinessID with EV in addition to 40-bit to 256-bit encryption, depending on your client's browser capability and the cipher suite installed on your Web server.

Web sites with a True BusinessID with EV Certificate and viewed with next-generation browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 will display a green browser address bar to demonstrate to customers they have reached a highly authenticated site. and, all of these Web sites are hosted on the same server box, you can purchase and install one Wildcard Certificate issued to *.yourdomain.com to secure all these sites. The number of sub domains that you can use the Wildcard Certificate to secure is unlimited, for example, the same certificate can be used every time you add a new sub domain to yourdomain.com. If you need to span the wildcard certificate across multiple physical servers, you may purchase additional licenses.

GeoTrust Power Server ID™

Power Server ID Certificates can secure up to 4 server names that reside on the same physical server and share the same second level domain name. When ordering your Power Server ID Certificate you have the option to provide 3 alternative server names to be included in the certificate. The certificate we issue to you will contain these server names, along with the server name listed in the common name of the CSR you submitted, in the Subject Alternative Name fields.

For example, if you need to secure the following server names:

www.yourdomain.com
secure.yourdomain.com
mail.secure.yourdomain.com
anything.download.secure.yourdomain.com

and all of these server names are hosted on the same server box, you can purchase and install one Power Server ID Certificate issued to one of the server names and containing the others in the Subject Alternative Name field to secure all these sites. The number of server names contained in the Subject Alternative Name field is limited to 3. If you need to span the Power Server ID Certificate across multiple physical servers, you may purchase additional licenses.
