Net24 is a leading New Zealand hosting provider offering hosted services from corporate email through to virtualised infrastructure. It has been providing robust, secure and fast New Zealand based hosted services to businesses since the company’s inception in 1999.

Our Roots

Established in Christchurch in 1999, brothers Nikolai and Michael Schupbach founded Net24 with a vision to provide quality hosted services that New Zealand businesses could depend upon, whilst striving to always provide an unparalleled customer service experience. Back then, Net24 was little more than two servers hosted in a back room but over time has evolved from its humble beginnings to now host more than 300 physical and virtual servers hosted in it's state-of-the-art data centre.

Our Future

Net24's year on year rapid growth can be attributed to a focus on re-investment in innovative technologies and infrastructure and a commitment to service that is second to none. A dedicated team of 10 staff comprised of System Engineers, Support Analysts, Developers and Account Managers bring a wealth of skills and experience to the company, with each team member being a true Internet enthusiast.

Recent company developments include an investment of more than $1 million to complete the build of a high density data centre in Christchurch to a tier III+ standard. The data centre is designed to host mission critical servers and computer systems, with fully redundant subsystems. The additional server capacity allows Net24 to forge ahead with innovative cloud and dedicated server offerings.

Our Brands

Brands operated by Net24 include the popular domain name registration web site, 1st Domains. 1st Domains was launched in 2003 and now manages more than 42,000 domain names for 11,000 customers. A commitment to lowest prices and easy-to-use online self management tools has turned 1st Domains into one of New Zealand's most popular domain name registration web sites, accounting for more than 10% of all new .nz registrations each month. Other divisions include SMB domain name and email provider RegisterDirect and expiring domain name auction site Expired Domains.

Today, the Net24 group is trusted by more than 20,000 customers and is firmly entrenched as a leading New Zealand provider of Internet hosted services.
