How It Works
RapidMX Anti-Spam/Virus works with your existing mail server setup without any changes required to your mail server or by your email users. Your DNS records are changed so that RapidMX simply acts as a relay, accepting all email for your domain name, cleaning the mail and then delivering it to your mail server.
RapidMX Anti-Spam/Virus is configured in just two easy steps:
1) Add your email users individually, or in bulk through the administrator's web portal
2) Contact your DNS provider to change your MX records to point to the RapidMX gateway

Requirements
RapidMX Anti-Spam/Virus is specifically designed for customers who run their own SMTP Mail Server. To use RapidMX you need:
- An SMTP RFC compliant mail server. eg. Microsoft Exchange Server, Sendmail, Lotus Notes.
- Access to the DNS zone for the mail domain to update MX records to Net24's RapidMX gateways.
