This notice is for customers using Direct Payment Solutions (Payment Express) for online credit card processing. It applies to customers using the PXPost and PXPay methods only. Customers hosted on our shared web hosting servers using PXAccess, DPSAuthS or DPSAuth methods do not need to make any changes.
DPS is upgrading its transaction processing infrastructure. This upgrade will provide more capacity and redundancy as well as improving transaction speed. The migration will require you to make changes to your code before 30th August 2011.

Plesk Panel 10 - Available on VPS
All new VPSs ordered with Parallels Plesk Panel will now come installed with the latest Plesk Panel 10.
Existing customers with Plesk Panel 9.5 can upgrade within their Plesk Panel but due to changes in the business logic we would recommend that you run the pre-upgrade checker tool on your VPS to highlight any potential problems you may encounter during the transition. Plesk Panel License is now also available as a hosting suite to include the popular new SiteBuilder application and Customer & Business Manager billing functions.

SQL Server 2008 R2 Now Available
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 database hosting plans are now available.
All new Microsoft SQL Databases provisioned will be running under SQL Server 2008 R2. It is also possible for existing customers running databases on SQL Server 2005 to migrate to 2008 if required. Please contact support if you wish to arrange this.

Mains power to our data centre was restored around 1pm Saturday, 26th February. The data centre and offices ran on primary generator power for over 96 hours, with a standby generator ready for automatic changeover in the event of a failure. There was no damage to our data centre, including servers, server racks, power room, water chillers and no major damage to our building. We are pleased to advise that Net24 experienced no downtime over our network or services and have had all our core infrastructure checked and certified as damage free.
Our office is fully staffed and is business as usual.
We'd like to thank everyone for the many messages of support that we have received over the past week. Your kind words of support have been very much appreciated by our staff, who continue to endure difficult personal circumstances.
Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the earthquake.

As you will be aware, Christchurch experienced a 7.1 earthquake during the early hours of Saturday morning.
We would like to advise that we sustained no damage to our data centre infrastructure and while we ran on generator power for approximately 5 hours, we were fully operational and experienced no downtime. All systems have been thoroughly checked and no faults have been found.
Thank you to everyone who has sent emails of support, our team really appreciates your concern. Our support also goes out to our fellow Cantabrians during this difficult period and today we have pledged $1000 to the Mayoral fund.
